You usually hear all these saying…,

“  .. Until my last breath.’, “ as long as I have strength..” , “ If I am still allow.. Why not..?”  “ If God permits…”  and many more saying. These are the words of a person who is doing and loving his job but not contented of doing once but more. But most of us are contented and okey in our very comfort zone.

This is what pastor Jess Porras feel, a Missionary- Pastor and an Evangelist of Leyte Baptist churches and Ministries engage in a multi facet ministry working in rural part of Northwest Leyte. He has a highly passion for winning souls for the Lord Jesus Christ. The urgency and the burden in evangelism is his heart outcry. As if he will be condemn if he cannot share and preach the Gospel of good news to the people without Christ in their hearts.

With the above cause and in consonant to the mission and vision of LBCM-FC, without much ado, God lead us to open and start a new church planting mission in nearby town here in Matag-ob, Leyte. It is a rural 5th class municipality yet rich of souls for evangelism. As one of the team told us that, very rear or not even they hear about the Salvation of God. Commencement of work was started; tract distribution was done and children center was open as means of approach to evangelized the people.  It might be by January next year we will have a full blast of evangelism.. Please do pray for Pastor Jess and his team who will be assigned there.

Yes..! there are still many places that needs to be evangelizes.  God is still looking and calling Christian workers to go out from their comfort zone and not be contented of what they have now. Go out and start new mission fields.  For the furtherance of the gospel…..Glory to God.
