Frontliners For Christ

Teaching on my Alma Mater School

Her Name is Miss JOAN MANTUA, 21 years of age, a fresh graduate from college. She attended her high school in our school – DOANE BAPTIST SCHOOL.  It was in this period that she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savoir and Lord ,likewise, I was so privilege to officiate her water baptism. While in high school she was a scholar sponsor by the school. Thru this project she was able to finished her high school with flying colors.

Because she was honor student, Praise God  she got a scholarship slot from a State University. During her college day , as student she has many struggles . although her tuition fee was free, daily sustenance was her major problem for shortages of budget or no more budget at all. What Joan holds was her faith in God received while she was in her high school days. She learned about trusting and seeking God first in her Life and indeed ,  she told us, God never failed in her life. Still she continued to attend church worship, in fact she was totally involved in the work and activities of the church, and she asked to our prayers for her plan in going to the mission field someday.

Last March 2006, she graduated from a degree of Secondary Education Major in Chemistry. Today she is employed as a classroom teacher in our high school department. It is just a biblical one.: “ what you sow you reap.” As she recall all her life experience, she is grateful to the Lord our God for being gracious and merciful to her.

Miss Joan Mantua success story is just one of many students who attended our Christian school, that was blessed by the ministry we have. I don’t know how may students who received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior and Lord in their life.   One  thing  I am assured of that God has used this school Ministry to reach young people for Christ.
